If you’re looking for inspiration for your TAMU senior photos, Grace’s session is the perfect example! We visited some of the most iconic locations at Texas A&M, capturing the joy and excitement of her senior year. From the grand steps of the Administration Building to the charming blue doors at Scoates Hall, and finally, the fountain at the Association of Former Students, this session had it all.

Choosing the right locations for your TAMU senior photos can make all the difference. While some spots, like the Admin Building, are timeless classics, others, like Scoates Hall, offer a unique touch. By mixing both, you can create a gallery that truly reflects your personality and journey.

The Admin Building – A Classic for TAMU Senior Photos

To start the session, we headed to the Administration Building. Without a doubt, this is one of the most popular spots for TAMU senior photos. The towering white columns and grand staircase create an elegant and timeless look, making it a must for any senior session.

Even though this location is always in high demand, arriving early helps avoid the crowds. Grace’s photos here turned out beautifully, capturing both her excitement and the significance of this milestone. Every shot taken on these historic steps added a sense of tradition, making this the perfect way to start her session.

Scoates Hall Blue Doors – A Unique Senior Photo Spot

After wrapping up at the Admin Building, we made our way to Scoates Hall. Unlike the more traditional backdrops, the blue doors here add a fun and modern twist to TAMU senior photos. The contrast between the deep blue doors and the warm brick made every shot pop!

Not only is this location unique, but it’s also less crowded than other popular spots on campus. This allowed Grace to relax and have fun in front of the camera, resulting in some of the most natural and joyful photos from her session. Plus, since so many seniors opt for classic locations, adding a stop at Scoates Hall is a great way to make your gallery stand out.

The Association of Former Students Fountain

To finish the session, we stopped by the fountain at the Association of Former Students. This location holds special meaning for many Aggies, symbolizing the lasting connection between graduates and Texas A&M.

As the sun set, the golden-hour lighting created the perfect glow. The water shimmered behind Grace, making these final shots some of the most breathtaking of the day. Ending at this spot felt fitting, as it represents both the end of one chapter and the beginning of the next. It’s a must-visit for any senior who wants their TAMU senior photos to feel both beautiful and meaningful.

When to Book Your TAMU Senior Photos

If you’re planning to take TAMU senior photos, timing is everything. Because graduation season brings long lines and crowded locations, scheduling your session early is key.

The Best Time for Senior Photos

Typically, fall and spring are the best seasons for TAMU senior photos. The weather is comfortable, campus looks stunning, and you won’t have to compete with last-minute crowds. Grace’s session was scheduled ahead of time, which made it easy to visit each location without rushing. Plus, booking early means you’ll have more flexibility in choosing the best time of day for lighting.

How to Make the Most of Your Senior Session

To ensure a smooth experience, consider these quick tips:

  • Plan your outfits in advance – Neutral tones and Aggie colors always photograph beautifully.
  • Choose a mix of locations – This helps create variety in your gallery.
  • Book early – The best spots fill up quickly, especially as graduation approaches.

By preparing ahead of time, you’ll have a stress-free session and photos you’ll love for years to come. A little planning goes a long way in making sure your senior portraits turn out just as you envisioned!
