If you’re looking for ideas for your own grad photos, Serena’s senior session is such a pretty example of what an afternoon golden-hour session can look like. As a Texas A&M senior photographer, I love photographing seniors when the light feels soft, warm, and natural—just like this day.
Admin Building With a Texas A&M Senior Photographer — White Dress + Master’s Hood
We started at the Admin Building while the sun was still high enough to glow through the trees. Serena wore a simple white dress with her master’s hood, and golden hour softened the entire space. The warm light against the stone columns gave every photo a clean, classic feel. It was the perfect way to begin her session.
Scoates — Bright, Timeless Light
After that, we headed to Scoates. In the afternoon, the light wraps beautifully around the building and keeps everything bright and airy. Serena wore a white dress, and the golden tones brought out so much warmth without losing that true-to-color look. These shots always end up being some of my favorites because they feel simple and effortless.
Aggie Park + The Association — Maroon Dress
As the sun began to set, we finished at Aggie Park and the Association. Serena changed into a maroon dress, and the color looked stunning in the evening light. Golden hour gave us soft highlights, clean shadows, and that warm, glowy feel that makes outdoor photos so special. The movement, the greens, the warm sky—it all came together so naturally.
A Session That Felt Easy and True to Her
Golden hour added such a natural warmth to every location. Each spot fit Serena perfectly and gave her gallery a good mix of classic A&M scenes and candid, relaxed moments. As a Texas A&M senior photographer, that balance is always my goal—photos that feel true to you!
