As a Houston Catholic wedding photographer, few things bring me more joy than documenting a wedding day grounded in faith. This Annunciation Catholic Church wedding was one of those sweet, steady days that felt meaningful from the moment I walked in. Annunciation is already such a special part of Houston—traditional, peaceful, and full of quiet beauty—so starting the day there set the tone right away.
Inside the church, the couple shared their moments of getting ready surrounded by family. There was a calmness in the air that made everything feel intentional. Once the music began and the doors opened, the ceremony unfolded with a sense of reverence that I’ll always remember. The liturgy, the blessings, and the way they held onto each other afterward made the whole Mass feel incredibly personal.

After the final hymn, everyone stepped into the warm Houston light to celebrate. Annunciation’s steps always photograph beautifully, and their exit felt especially joyful. We took our time before leaving downtown, letting them soak in the moment while guests shared hugs and quick congratulations.
From there, we made our way to Memorial Park for portraits. The shift from the historic church to the open green spaces of the park brought a soft, relaxed energy to the afternoon. The trees filtered the sunlight in the prettiest way, giving us natural, glowing portraits that balanced the elegance of their ceremony.

Memorial Park is one of my favorite places for portraits because it feels simple and honest—just two people, their love, and the quiet of nature around them. These two were so easy to photograph. Their laughter, the way they held each other, and the little in-between moments brought out the heart of the day.
If you’re planning a Catholic wedding in Houston and want photos that feel warm, meaningful, and true to your story, I’d love to serve you and be part of your day.
