Alexis and Hunter’s wedding day was full of love, faith, and family—everything you could hope for in a classic Catholic celebration. They chose Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Houston, Texas for their ceremony, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. As a Texas Catholic wedding photographer, this day was such a beautiful one to capture.

To begin, the morning started quietly, with Alexis getting ready alongside her mom and bridesmaids. First, there were sweet details throughout—handwritten letters exchanged between the couple and her timeless lace gown hanging by the window. Hunter got ready nearby with his groomsmen, calm and smiling, excited for the moment he’d see his bride walk down the aisle.

Next, their ceremony took place inside Holy Rosary Church, one of Houston’s most beautiful Catholic churches. The long aisle, arched ceilings, and soft natural light gave the whole space a peaceful and reverent feel.

The Mass was filled with heartfelt moments—from the readings and homily to the exchange of vows and blessing of the rings. Watching Alexis and Hunter kneel together at the altar was such a powerful image of unity and commitment. The music, the prayers, the stillness—it all felt so meaningful and sacred.

Overall, one of my favorite parts of photographing Catholic weddings is documenting the quiet glances and joyful tears during the Mass. Alexis and Hunter’s love for each other, grounded in faith, came through in every frame.

After the ceremony, we stepped just outside the church for family photos and portraits of the newlyweds. Holy Rosary’s location in the heart of Houston made for a timeless backdrop. Alexis’s cathedral veil floated in the breeze, and the way Hunter looked at her—you could tell this moment was everything to them.
